PATS TRAINING COURSE

PATS (Passenger Assistant Training Scheme) was developed jointly by (Community Transport Association UK) and Hampshire County Council to provide a nationally recognised standard of training to people whose role it is to provide care and assistance to passengers travelling by road.


Our Passenger Assistant Trainer Course covers all of the modules in the PATS (Passenger Assistant Training Scheme) so that you can train your staff in-house. We also offer trainer refresher courses.

The following points should be noted:

It is paramount that any trainer candidate has relevant work experience and the ability to pass on vital information and skills learnt during the trainer course.


They must be able to convey any points clearly and concisely and to use variety of training aids, computers, projectors, PowerPoint etc.


Candidates will have to demonstrate presentation skills, subject matter drawn from course content, and sit a theory test and practical skills assessments.


A memory stick containing PATS Trainer`s manual, forms, presentation and certificate will be included in the cost of the course.
